Tokyo Disneyland is a theme park based on the films produced by Walt Disney. It is located at the Tokyo Disney Resort in Urasayu, Chiba prefecture, Japan, Near Tokyo. 

Its main gate is directly adjacent to both Maihama Station and Tokyo Disneyland Station. It was the first Disney park to be built outside the United States, and it opened on 15 april 1983. 

The park was constructed by WED enterprise in the same style as Magic Kingdom in Florida and Disneyland in California. It is owned by The oriental Land Company. which licenses the theme from The Walt Disney Company.

Tokyo Disneyland, with its iconic Cinderella castle standing at the center of the park. The park has seven themed areas : the World Bazaar ; the four traditional disneylands : Adventureland, Westernland, Fantasyland, and Tommorowland ; and also two mini lands : Critter Country and Mickey`s Toontown. Many of these areas mirror those in the original Disneyland as they are based on American Disney Films and fantasies.

In 2018 Tokyo Disneyland hosted 17,9 million visitors, making it the world`s third-most visited theme park behind the magic kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Park at the Disneyland Resort.

The Trisakti Shootings The Trisakti shootings happened on 12 may 1998, the tragedy took place at Trisakti University, Jakarta, Indonesia. The demonstration demanding President Suharto's retirement because of the suffered of Indonesian economy in 1997 and 1998 due to the Asian financial crisis. By 1998, hundreds of students from universities across the country were demonstrating and calling for President Suharto's retirement. On 9 May 1998, a police officer, Dadang Rusmana, was reported that he have been killed at a demonstration at Djuanda University.  On 12 may 1998 Four students, Elang Mulia Lesmana, Heri Hertanto, Hafidin Royan, and Hendriawan Sie were killed and many more were injured. Gun shots were heard and screaming followed. Tear gas was everywhere. Chaos at its best.The shootings caused riots to break out throughout Indonesia, eventually leading to Suharto's retirement. on 16 May 1998 there was a demonstration at the Bandung Institute of Technolog
